Artist Elim Cheng, made two “needy objects”- they need the owner’s attentions to make them work. One is an alarm clock, to stop the alarm, the owner needs to hug it.
The other one is a speaker, the volume will go crazy when the owner is not around. The owner needs to pet it to make it calm down.
We totally want to make pet-able wallpaper.

Known for his highly stylized wildlife prints, posters and book illustrations, silkscreens and paintings – Charley Harper (Aug. 1922 – June 2007) was an American Modernist artist who left us with an array of patterns, textures, color combinations, and ways of depicting nature.
Growing up in a farm near the Appalachian Mountains, his love for nature grew. As a result of his love for wildlife, he went on to design over 50 “bio” posters for non-profit conservation groups, nature centers, zoos, national parks, and many others.
Minimal realism, he calls it, “I don’t try to put everything in, I try to leave everything out.”

We were psyched to be included in interior designer Jason Oliver Nixon’s “California Bespoke” booth at the LA Mart Gifts Show, this past july.
Check out his booth and Cavern’s Palm in Mustard.
